Name: OakSprout
Alias:
Age: three moons (approximate)
Gender: Female
Weight: 20lbs
Height: 0.6 m tall
Sub-species: Umbra|Silverblood, despite being unaware of it.
Appearance: OakSprout is a very small wolf pup with silvery gray fur, not long enough to get snagged by twigs, but long enough to be quite a hassle to keep clean. Her pelt is soft and fluffy, not providing much protection from the elements, but giving her an adorable and innocent appearance. Her eyes, since she is still so young, are a bright blue and full of bright curiosity about the world around her. Her pawprints are no bigger than 6 cm long, but one of her front legs is oddly twisted and slightly malformed to the point where she frequently stumbles if she moves too quickly.
A trail of frost is left behind when she walks in damp areas, and follows constantly when she is unhappy. Whenever she gets wet, icicles form like spikes around her on her fur.
Rank: Shaman's apprentice
Pack: Kolana
Specialty: "herb finder and cheerer-upper of the sick and hurt!" (Magic | Medicine)
Elemental Affinity: Water
Personality: OakSprout is small, but that doesn't stop her from being quite a handful. She loves to run around, even with her twisted paw, although more often than not she ends up flat on her face only a few pawsteps later. She's a very bouncy, cheerful pup full of curiosity, and causes quite a bit of trouble when she's allowed to roam around. She wants to know about everything and asks a lot of questions about things she probably shouldn't ask about, however with all these questions she also gains more knowledge than other pups - mostly about medicine due to the medicine wolf tending to be the only one to answer her questions, aside from her adoptive father. The little pup reveres her adoptive father Tinypetal like a god, her mood automatically becoming even the slightest bit cheerier and bubblier when he comes near.
Likes: Oaksprout, being the cheerful little pup she is, loves too many things to count. The one thing she loves more than anything, is knowing. There's an answer to every question and she is determined to know them all. Second on her list, is quite obviously TinyPetal. She idolizes him as above the spirits, and spends as much time as she can trailing him or cuddled up against his side.
The stars are a major focus of her curiosity, and she would stay up late studying them if she were not so of the dark - even with TinyPetal hovering over her she does not stay out long once the sun has hidden itself behind the edge of the world.
Dislikes: There isn't a whole lot that OakSprout doesn't like, but silence definitely takes the cake. It's just too boring! How could anyone sit still without making any kind of noise for so long? Life should be spent being happy and carefree, even when faced with the monsters from the dead.
Being unable to answer a question or having a question unanswered is like torture to the little pup, a burning itch that she can't get rid of until she's figured out the problem.
Last but not least, comes any bug with more than eight legs. Eerie creepy crawlies that sneak up while you aren't looking and crawl into your fur, or wriggle around and tap their tiny toes till you squish them- then become a giant mess on the bottom of your paw that you can't get off.
Fear: Despite her gay and jovial personality, OakSprout is scared of being rejected or ignored by her pack mates. She's a smart pup, knows that Tinypetal isn't her real father, and that she wasn't born in the pack.
Her fears are many more than just one: a lightning storm will send her running for cover, most often under TinyPetal's legs; Eerie noises in the dark will do the same. The mere thought of fighting another wolf sends chills down her spine, death even more so.
Last, but far from least, Oaksprout is secretly terrified that one day, her birth parents will try to come take her away from TinyPetal and her adoptive pack.
Motivation: OakSprout doesn't have much in terms of motivations. She is, afterall, still just a pup and her foremost desire is to find something new and interesting everyday. With every question she gets anwered, several more pop into her head demanding to be answered. Somewhere in the back of her mind she wants to find her mother, but the amount of fascinating things that surround her make easy distractions, and with TinyPetal taking care of her, there's no real need for a mom. Some day she wants to travel and visit the other packs to learn from them too, but for now she's happy with where she is. After all, what's better than being a pup?

Background: Oaksprout's story is very short compared to full grown wolves, however her ancestry gives her a longer history than most other pups.
Her mother was a rogue wolf, fending for herself in the wilderness. Her name was Fir, because she always smelled like pine sap. She had never been a part of a pack, born and raised as a rogue. Her father was a non-born silverblood wolf, banished from the afterlife for the betrayal of his pack. He had been 'dead' for so long that his name was long forgotten. Her mother had been sleeping when her father had appeared to her in the night, and thinking it was a dream, mated with him.
It wasn't until it became obvious that she found out what had happened, and abandoned the pup soon after it was born. The pup was born with a twisted paw, and being only a few weeks old, it couldn't take care of itself. Left to die, the pup called out for its mother throughout the night, somehow not attracting the masses of predators that lived in the forests with its pitiful wail. Morning dew gathered in the silvery pup's fur and shimmered into a layer of frost even though the world was too warm for ice to be formed.
Unaffected by the cold frost on its fur, the pup continued to call out for her lost mother until she became too weak and lost consciousness. The pup became hidden under a large oak leaf as she lay prone upon the ground near the roots of the tree, as if the large oak was attempting to provide her shelter. While the little pup slept, a large wolf came across the same oak tree. Seeing the out of place frost patch on the ground, he found the little pup beneath the leaves and adopted her as his own.
She was raised by the wolf, named Tinypetal, as well as his pack, however as time passed Tinypetal became more than just her father, but also the beta of the pack. Because of this, she doesn't get to spend much time with him, but since she's got her own responsibilities to the pack, Oaksprout doesn't mind as much. Ever since she was allowed to interact with the bigger wolves without being disregarded by everyone but the medicine wolf, she's been asking as many questions as possible. Of course, with her twisted paw and her unquenchable thirst to know more, she was given the task of learning from the medicine wolf as their apprentice.
RP Sample: She'd been arrested. All she'd done was bump into him and ask for help, and now she was being marched off to some unknown place with an unknown soldier in and unknown universe. Tears streamed freely now as he pushed her along. The crowd seemed to part around them, scared of the soldier perhaps?
What did I do? Did I insult him? Break a law I didn't know? What is he going to do with me? Am I going to die? I don't want to die! I just wanted to go home! All I wanted to do was go home and now he's going to kill me and toss my corpse into the sea. I'm dead now...it's all over. He'll kill me and then I'll never get back home.
Cat's breathing was getting heavier and she choked on her tears. She stumbled more often as she kept walking, no choice but to follow the soldier's directions. He still hasn't spoken but the cold point of the gun stayed pressed against her back. The ocean drew nearer as Cat's sobbing grew louder, making each breath even harder. The gun pressed insistently against her and changed direction to an empty house.
Where is this? Why is he bringing me here? Is this some kind of torture dungeon? O-or is he just reluctant to kill me out in the open? I-I don't wanna go in there, something bad will happen for sure. I should've stayed in the creepy white place, I wouldn't have been in this situation if I haven't left! I don't even know why that Omni thing took me. I'm just me, and I just want to go home where it's safe.
Cat's fear spiked as she saw the door open without anyone touching it, almost as if it were possessed by a ghost. The soldier shoved her in without a word, slamming the door shut afterwards. The girl sobbed and shoved herself back until she ran into something hard, her vision too blurry to see anything but the colour blue, everywhere. She could hear though, a voice... A man's voice. It seemed to be speaking to the soldier. Cat couldn't fully comprehend what was being said, but she could tell it was probably something bad if it involved the soldier. Maybe he was trying to sell her as a slave? That would explain the house, but not all the blue. Where had that even come from? The thing she was leaning against was warm and kind of tingly, like electricity perhaps. It was oddly comforting, and as time passed without anyone touching her she started to calm down. Cat curled up on the floor leaning against the blue wall, wiping away her tears and trying to convince herself that she'd be okay.
