We are the Void. We are many, we are one. From the Void we came, and to the Void we shall return.
Name: --
Alias: The Corruption
Age: --
Sex: -- (Appears Masculine)
Weight: Depends on the wolf possessed
Height: Depends on the wolf possessed
Sub-species: Depends on the wolf possessed
Appearance: What once was the normal body of a wolf has now been twisted up, destroyed and mutated into a decaying corpse that houses the influence of the Void on the physical plane of existence. The upper canines have grown out considerably from the normal 1-1 1/2in to a frightful 3in long. The fur of the neck grows out to a long greasy looking black mane as the rest of the pelt typically turns a dark crimson red. The sclera of the eyes turn black while the iris turns red, regardless of prior eye coloration. The tongue and gums turn a sickly black, emitting a noticeable green glow due to the sheer force of the magic possessing the body.
Rank: Vessel of the Void
Pack: --
Specialty: Magic | Physical
Elemental Affinity: Darkness
Personality: The Corruption does whatever its greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive it to do. It is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If it is simply out for whatever it can get, it is ruthless and brutal. If it is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, it is even worse. It represents the destruction not only of beauty and life but also of the order on which beauty and life depend.
Laws and order, kindness, and good deeds are disdained. Life has no value. The Corruption holds that individual freedom and choice is important, and that other individuals and their freedoms are unimportant if they cannot be held by the individuals through their own strength and merit. Motivated by the desire for personal gain and pleasure, it sees absolutely nothing wrong with taking whatever it wants by whatever means possible. Laws are the tools of weaklings unable to fend for themselves. The strong have the right to take what they want, and the weak are there to be exploited.
The Corruption also likes to corrupt the innocent and virtuous. Living beings are play-things to The Corruption, to be used and manipulated for their own personal pleasure. That being said, it doesn't necessarily go after individuals just because they stand in the way of its success, as it will harm or destroy life for the sheer pleasure of it.
This twisted being seeks personal freedom at the expense of those who aren't smart, capable, or ruthless enough to get what they want. If what this being wants will come only at the price of the freedom and happiness (not to mention the lives) of others, so be it. Other individuals and their freedoms are unimportant if those freedoms cannot be held through their own strength and merit. All else being equal, The Corruption is perhaps the most dangerous character of all, because one rarely knows how it might react to a given encounter. For reasons often known only to itself, it could ignore some situations, then suddenly explode in apparently identical ones. Its behavior patterns are almost impossible to predict, for it has probably learned to curb and control its penchant for "evil" due to the constraints of civilization. It is not expected to go about insanely slaughtering and torturing everyone it meets, for it doesn't usually act stupid. It will realize the consequences of such activities and will participate in such pleasurable distractions only when safe from discovery. To this force of darkness, the lives of others have no value and are incidental in the pursuit of ultimate freedom and personal power.
The Corruption never feels compelled to keep its word. It will attack and kill an unarmed foe, for those are the best kind. It will kill the innocent. It will use torture to extract information and for pleasure. It will kill for pleasure and it will use poison. It will not help those in need. It prefers to work alone, as it values its freedom. It does not respond well to "higher authority", is distrustful of organizations, and will disregard the law in pursuit of self-interest. It will betray a family member, comrade, or friend whenever it is convenient to do so. The Corruption does not respect the concepts of self-discipline and honor because it believes such concepts limit its ability to gain power over others.
Likes: The Corruption enjoys being in power, it enjoys domination over those that it views as weak, less than or beneath it. How that domination is achieved means little, for to it, it is all the same game and the same pleasure. It derives pleasure from the suffering and misery of those around it, whether this misery was caused by it or not. The Corruption likes to work alone and highly values the abilities to exercise its own freedoms and the ability to pursue self-interest.
Dislikes: Laws and order, kindness, and good deeds are disdained. Life has no value. The weak are there in order to be stepping stones for the powerful, the weak of mind, heart and body deserve nothing except misery. Avoiding injury to others at the cost of its own pleasure, refusing to display power over an underling when appropriate or to commit cruel acts that are in its best interest, and turning down a chance to gain power or wealth are all things that The Corruption would never do due to the sheer distaste of the aforementioned actions. However, there are two things that it hates more than all the rest, and those are: acting altruistically and giving any aid to the forces of Law, Order and Goodness.
Fear: The corruption holds no fear for it is part of the Void, and what is there to fear when you come from such a vile and twisted instance? There is no need to fear loneliness or eternity for the Void is empty, it is something but nothing. How can one fear death knowing that when the mortal body dies the consciousness will return to be part of the Void once more, only to be thrown back to the lands to cause chaos again? Death, loneliness, betrayal, evil nor any action are of any consequence to The Corruption, and so it has no reason to fear anything.
Motivation: To be in complete power. To wipe out all instances of life and sow the biggest and most seeds of destruction and chaos across the surface of the lands and the bottom of the seas. To corrupt all that it touches in order to bring the universe back to being just the Void and only the Nothing that was Something. To pursue all forms of pleasure, seek unlimited power over others and unlimited freedom for itself, harm those who protect the weak or honor laws, and to attack and kill foes, whether they be armed and ready for the battle means little to it.

Background:
THE CORRUPTION
The Void is. The Void was. The Void shall ever be. But the Void was tired, for he hated and despised that which was not him, and he gazed down upon the infection that swarmed Earth’s body. Life, it had been dubbed, and he hated that with all he could muster. He took a piece of himself, and threw it down, hoping that it would not land in Water, again. It did not, and it struck a wolf by the name of DarkClaw, he was named for he always fought in the darkness. Finding root in the wolf, the Void wormed itself into the beings very soul, turning it into his own dark creation.
DarkClaw, or the creature that used to be DarkClaw, was unable to move for a day as the Void entered him, but it was not the Void. For the Void could not be two, but it was; for that which was given Life could not be made into unLife, for there was still Life within and as such he was different from the innate nature of the Void. He was The Corruption, and his vessel the Corrupted. The Corrupted did not remain the same as he was, for he was changed by the very presence of The Corruption in him.
He grew large, powerful, and he took upon him a more feral nature in which he stood. In time, many grew to fear the unnatural wolf, and they only ever spoke of him in hushed tones. But the vessel was weak, for life was not meant to handle the Void’s presence, as he had no part in it’s making. So the body withered and decayed, until finally The Corruption leaped from one body to another, and so the new vessel became The Corrupted, and The Corruption could live forever more.
The Corruption was not limited to wolves, but to all manner of Life. Spiders and wasps became his favorites, for they could act as his spies to those that would be otherwise unsuspecting of their presence. All beasts work with him, even if they do not know so, but one such beast did know that she was working with him, and she was known as Wicked. For she was Wicked, and her heart filled with the desire to dominate all that stood before her. When she met The Corruption as he stalked her, she immediately realized that she and he were kindred spirits, for they were both born of the Darkness that had no beginning. The Corruption felt this too, and so they began to converse about many things. Together, they hatched many plans, many of which came unfurled in due time.
