1. Please follow all of these rules accordingly. Any violations from the rules may be sanctioned by the Staff of this site.
2. Refrain from posting one liners. The ideal post should be in detail, with about one paragraphs minimum, with three sentences each. If you are in a hurry, tell those who you're rping with that you can't post now, and may post later so you could have more time. In a private topic, if both (or all) parties agree on it, one-liners will be allowed.
Generally speaking, a post such as:
will absolutely NOT be tolerated, at all, ever. No exceptions. If you can't type a non-chatspeak, grammatically correct sentence, get off the computer, and pick up your crayons, because you're obviously a six year old or a challenged teen/adult.
3. All applications which are pending for approval may not be used in your threads. You may test them out on OOC threads, but any in-character related posts are not allowed. Sanctions: 1st: Warning, 2nd: 3 Day Suspension, 3rd: Ban.
4. Mild cursing/swearing is allowed, but refrain from making your posts into curse-land.
There are people here who I doubt want to read that, me included. If you need to talk to someone and rant, take it to PMs. Sanctions: 1st: Warning, 2nd: 2 Day Suspension, 3rd: Ban.
5. Racial discrimination is NOT allowed. Any form of sexual harassment or insulting is also discouraged. If someone asks you to stop, then stop. Don't be a prick and continue to harass said person unless you're aiming to get banned.
1st: 3 day suspension, 2nd: 1 week suspension, 3rd: Ban.
6. Please avoid having flame wars in the Chat box, or in posts. Debates are fine, as long as no one is getting hurt. Also, no political talk, because we all should know that it won't end well. Any kind of flaming, even on spam threads are not allowed. If you feel the need to fight or argue with someone, take it to the Private Messages, but remember if the user asks you to stop, leave them alone, least you're trying to break the fifth rule. 1st: Warning, 2nd: 1 Week Suspension, 3rd: Ban.
7. No God Modding. This includes your character never getting tired during a fight, controlling another character within your posts and having anything God-like related. Mind you, there are extremely powerful "Spirit" characters, but they are staff controlled and only used during certain plot movements. 1st: Warning, 2nd: Opponent granted a free non-lethal attack on your character, of their choice, 3rd: Ban
8. Respect the Staff. I am not your baby sitter. I'm not going to soothe your ruffled hair because someone did something you simply didn't like. If it's bothering you so much, send a PM to me, and have a good reason. "His character can do that, but mine can't." isn't a good reason, petty jealousy and whining is a one way ticket to getting a ban. If a staff member tells you no, or tells you to stop, then stop. Don't argue.
1st: Warning, 2nd: three day suspension, 3rd: Ban
1. No zombification of threads! Do not post in dead topics at all, unless you are already in it and you plan to revive it and finish it. If no one is there any more, do not post in it, just simply don't.
2. Keep in mind that you can only be in five roleplay topics at a time. This rule has been made to avoid difficulties in the storyline and timeline. If you wish to enter another roleplay topic which would be your sixth, you have to first leave one of your previous topics.
3. Do not metagame. This means using information gained OOC being used IC.
1st: Warning, 2nd: one week suspension, 3rd: Ban
4. Follow the Posting Order of a topic. Unless someone has become inactive, you cannot post in the wrong order. For example: Person 1 posts, Person 2 posts, Person 3 posts. It should continue this way for the rest of the topic.
The reason for this rule is so it doesn't turn into this: Person 1 posts, Person 2 posts, Person 3 posts. Person 1 posts, Person 3 posts, Person 2 posts, Person 3 posts. This would make it unfair to Persons 1 & 2 because Person 3 is getting more actions.
5. Do not use unapproved techniques/herbs/etc in an active topic. If you get a technique/herb or anything else gained through approvals and buying, which means basically anything, you cannot use it until you go to a topic which has a topic start time of AFTER you got whatever it is. This goes along with the meta-gaming rule that restricts character information.
6. To use a technique or in a Medicine Wolf's case, herbs, in a topic, you must have it: made, appraised, bought, have experience deducted, and finally, added to your technique list(or herbs list). If it's not in your list and you use it, you may either be disqualified in what you were doing, ignored, or even punished by a Mod/Admin. Punishment varies depending on the offense and how often you try to break this rule.
7. Post your technique's either in a spoiler or code after your RP. This means at the bottom of your post. It helps the other person you're are RPing with know how to react, and also saves them from hunting through Narnia and back to find whatever tech/herb you happen to be using.
8. Your user name must be the same as your characters first name. Alias's will not be accepted. This makes it easier for admins/mods to find applications belonging to specific users. If you need your username changed, simply ask an Admin.
Five Minute Rule: This is an important rule that must be followed with the same punishment as all the other rules here. When a staff member enters the chat box no one is allowed to bug them with things like "Can you look at _____ app?" or "Can you look at that?" for the first five minutes they are there. In addition, no one can bug a staff member about applications and other things for the first five minutes that the member is in the chat.
Bumping: From time to time the staff won't be able to look at your applications (be they characters, techniques...) right away due to personal problems or other work needing to be finished on the forum that takes a priority. When this happens someone's natural reaction seems to be posting a "bump" in that topic, I ask that you refrain from doing this. However if you feel you're an extremely important 'being' you are allowed to bump it-- but only after a minimum of 72 hours.
2. Refrain from posting one liners. The ideal post should be in detail, with about one paragraphs minimum, with three sentences each. If you are in a hurry, tell those who you're rping with that you can't post now, and may post later so you could have more time.
